ASM Logistics Expand Their Services! We have new additions to our fleet! Currently, we offer Hiab vehicles, Artics, Flatbeds, and Vans and we felt it was time to expand our services to help existing and new customers more. That’s why we have invested in an 18-tonne curtain-sided vehicle and a curtain-sided trailer.
With ASM Logistics ltd being taken over by new management a year ago, we decided it was the perfect time to expand our services further. Why a curtain sider? It means we can cater to a more diverse range of clients and help transport a wider variety of goods.
A curtain sider is great for a speedy load and unload. Once the curtains are pulled back, the trailer can be accessed from both sides as well as the rear door by multiple forklifts simultaneously. Drivers are in and out and back on the road quickly. Furthermore, a curtain-sided vehicle or trailer also makes for simplified partial deliveries. The limitations of “first on/last off” loading are a thing of the past. Independent access to all parts of a load at any point along a route means multiple drop loads are easily doable from a single trailer. Making it perfect for pallet network and palletise goods. Lastly, it also means goods are covered and are kept dry, and there’s no need to sheet or tarp.
